DOWNTOWN Kitchen + Cocktails chef/owner Janos Wilder was awarded the James Beard Foundation award for top chef in the Southwest in 2000. Wilder was also the opening consulting chef of KAI Restaurant at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa, the only AAA Five Diamond restaurant in Arizona and is Chairman of the Board of Native Seeds/SEARCH, on the Board of Director's of Tucson's UNESCO City of Gastronomy, and on the Dean's Advisory Board for the University of Arizona College of Science. He is the author of two cookbooks.

DOWNTOWN Kitchen + Cocktails is a celebration of who we are, and an affirmation of the rebirth of downtown Tucson. Set in an airy, art-filled urban space DTK+C is open daily from 4 pm for dinner, offering happy hour, dinner and late-night dining. The menu features our take on American classics as well as dishes influenced by the many global culinary traditions that have been brought to our country, featuring flavors as diverse and wonderful as America itself. Exuberant, delectable and nurturing, our dishes will excite your palate. At DTK+C we look to our network of local gardeners and farmers to help supply our kitchen with seasonally changing produce and to inform our menus with a sense of place in Southern Arizona. We are a Tucson restaurant with long and strong ties to our community. From our custom produced china, to our curated art exhibits and our support of local non-profit organizations, we promote Tucson as a source of our inspiration and as our home.
